Tharaa is the Culture and People Success Manager at Power Tynan, bringing over 11 years of experience across HR, administration and people leadership. Tharaa is known for her approachable style and ability to create a positive, supportive environment where people feel valued and empowered to do their best work.

Tharaa’s career began straight out of university, when she was recruited as a management trainee with EY after completing her postgraduate studies in business management, specialising in HR and marketing. From there, she built a broad and well‑rounded career working closely with teams, developing her strengths in people management and organisational culture.

Tharaa was inspired to pursue a career in HR by her cousin, whose stories about working with people and navigating complex situations sparked her interest early on. What she enjoys most about her role today is the variety it brings, no two days are the same, and she thrives on the energy and adaptability that comes with supporting people across all areas of the business.

Outside of work, Tharaa enjoys getting creative with DIY projects (even if they do not always go to plan), spending time her dogs, reading, and painting when she gets the chance. Travelling to Egypt to see the pyramids sits high on her bucket list.

She values being part of a team that genuinely supports one another and takes pride in contributing to the culture at Power Tynan.
